Madeline gentles a one week old feral pup in Italy. In general, the dogs of the punkebestio (street people) in Italy are friendly and well socialized to people, because they encounter people all the time and are handled frequently. Admittedly, though, there is a dog overpopulation problem in Italy as well as in the U.S., and dogs should be spayed and neutered.
